Juiced Bikes, a San Diego-based electric bicycle company, today launched a new type of electric bicycle that is smaller in size than the company's other popular electric bicycles. Juiced RipRacer has also set a new low price for the brand.

RipRacer starts at just $1,399 and is the little brother of the larger Juiced RipCurrent electric bike.

Although it retains fat tires that help bikes perform well on road and off-road, it shrinks these tires to a 20-inch format.

Combined with a smaller frame, RipCurrent becomes a compact car that still has the power and range that Juiced riders expect.

It also adds new technologies, such as the first battery ever integrated with Apple AirTag, if it is lost (or more likely stolen), it may be found.

RipRacer will provide two options, Class 2 and Class 3 versions. Both are suitable for riders weighing up to 275 pounds (120 kg).

The top speed of Level 2 RipRacer is 20 mph (32 km/h), and the cruising range using 52V and 10.4Ah batteries is "35+ miles" (56 kilometers).

The top speed of Class 3 RipRacer can reach 28 mph (45 km/h). With a larger 52V 15.6Ah battery, it can go further. Juiced claims that its range should be 55 miles (88 kilometers).

Both ranges are based on pedal assist operation, which means that the rider's pedal force is increased by motor assistance. When riding with only the accelerator (that is, without pedaling), the range will be reduced due to the increase in power demand.

The category 2 version includes a 20A controller that can provide approximately 1,040 peak watts, while the category 3 version of the 25A controller is suitable for a slightly higher 1,300 peak watts.

Another difference between the two models is the display. The type 2 version of the display is simpler than the full-featured type 3 version.

Both versions of Juiced RipRacer are equipped with 750W continuous-rated gear hub motors and include some impressive technologies such as hydraulic disc brakes and Apple AirTag integrated batteries (although it seems to be a case with its own AirTag, with The specially designed compartment is in the battery box). The battery uses a redesigned shell, including a handle, improved water resistance, and can be used with the charging dock accessories that will be launched at the end of next year. The docking station will also allow other electronic devices to be battery-powered, which functions like a generator or portable backup battery. These batteries are backward compatible with all previous Juiced 52V electric bicycle models.

Although these bicycles contain some impressive new technologies, the popular torque sensors on most Juiced electric bicycles have been replaced with low-spec cadence sensors, which means that pedal assist is not like the ones that actually enable torque sensors. Electronically sensitive-bicycles like Juiced's Scorpion electric moped.

Skip some high-end components, such as the torque sensor and front suspension (note the BMX-style front fork) to help reduce the price of the bike. The Class 2 model is priced at US$1,399, while the Class 3 model is priced slightly higher at US$1,599. Both are significantly lower than most other electric bikes from Juiced. The Class 2 version is one of the lowest prices for a 750W electric bicycle with hydraulic disc brakes on the market.

This gives RipRacer an interesting position in the market. Other low-cost fat tire electric bicycles such as the $999 Lectric XP 2.0 may be lower in price, but RipRacer offers higher-quality components and more than 50% battery capacity, not to mention interesting additional features such as The charging stand is integrated with Apple AirTag.

Other "fun" fat-tired electric bicycles, such as the Pedego Element, match RipRacer in price, but are far from its power, speed, or components.

RipRacer's smaller size should make it more attractive to shorter-end riders. The company stated that it should be suitable for riders from 5'0" to 6'3" (152 to 190 cm).

As explained by Tora Harris, founder and CEO of Juiced Bikes, this bike is primarily designed for a new generation of riders.

With the younger generation becoming more and more interested in electric bicycles, we see the opportunity to launch smaller models at entry-level prices. This electric bicycle attracts a wider audience, but of course it has iconic performance characteristics. The Juiced brand is well known of.

By providing a lighter and more flexible new frame style, and adding a series of colors, both new and old electric bike riders can get an exciting riding experience, while also being very practical and safe. And, like all our electric bicycles, this is a great way to replace expensive and energy-inefficient car mileage.

The 66 lb (30 kg) RipRacer is available in four colors: Baja Blue, Noir, Hi-Viz Yellow and Mystic Green. It will go on sale on Thursday, November 26, but will not start shipping until March next year.
