Tata Power said on Wednesday that it has installed over 450 charging stations along more than 350 national roads, including one on the longest (NH 44) and another on the busiest (NH 1). (NH 19).
Tata Power stated in a statement that this is in keeping with the company’s overall goal to install charging stations from north to south and east to west.
According to the corporation, these 450+ EV charging outlets on roads are situated in a variety of sites like as hotels, commercial complexes, and auto dealerships, among others, spanning 25 states and five union territories.
Tata Power said it has also established a Network Operations Centre (NOC), which offers the backbone for strong charging assistance, enabling effective operational administration of pan-India charging points.
The firm stated that it intends to have over 6,500 charging points by the end of current fiscal year.
According to the firm, Tata Power now has a network of over 21,000 home chargers (for private use), 240+ electric bus charging sites, and more than 2,400 public and semi-public chargers spread throughout 300 cities, villages, and national roads.
